On Wednesday the 17th of August, President Michael McCabe of the Rotary Club of Campbelltown SA, presented a new book to launch our Club’s Project, Books for Babies at the il nido Children’s Centre Campbell Rd, Paradise SA.
President Michael McCabe said this Community Service Project engages our Club with mothers and our youngest members of our local community to support early learning and this in turn reflects Rotary International’s ideals of support for Maternal and Child Health and Global Literacy.
The name il nido means ‘the nest’ in Italian. It was chosen to acknowledge the involvement of the local Italian community in this centre when it was built in 1995 and symbolises our aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your child.
