Who runs the Classics on the Park Car Show? 🙄
The Rotary Club of Campbelltown SA.
This will be our 6th annual Classics Car Show.
Why do they Run it? 😏
To hold a public community service project that raises funds for a worthy cause. That cause is the local CFS. (The Show has raised a staggering $70K since 2019.)
What is the Car Show about? 🤔
It is an extremely popular and affordable family event for classic car owners, enthusiasts, and the general public.

- Food, coffee, drinks & gelati available to purchase

- Demonstrations by the local CFS

The Show is proudly supported by Campbelltown City Council and local businesses who generously sponsor this outstanding public event to raise extra funds for the local CFS that above and beyond what is government funded.
For example – Athelstone CFS used the money donated from the event to purchase an extra generator to be used at the unit in case of power blackouts, this allowed the public to charge their phones and devices or emergency equipment in case of a power blackout etc

Further Car Show Information 😀

- Did you know that Campbelltown Council, (a great supporter and sponsor of the Classics Car Show) is proud that the new Thorndon Park Playground won the 2023 Award for Australia's Best Playground? So definitely, bring the kids and check it out.
- There will be MCs giving public announcements throughout the day, including spot interviews with entrants, special exhibitors, and sponsors.
- If it is warm & sunny, please don't forget your sun protection-hat & sunscreen.
- At picturesque Thorndon Park there is a great Kiosk run by the Rotary Club of Morialta, an Award-winning popular playground, a lake and water features, free BBQs & picnic areas, manicured grounds & lawns, public fitness equipment, amenities, walking & hiking trails, sports facilities, scenic views, and wildlife (No Fishing). The Park is a real gem and a credit to the Campbelltown City Council.
There is a raffle on sale prior to the show and on the day– with great raffle prizes from local sponsors. Tickets are only $2 each, book of 5 tickets = $20

Part A: General Info
- We are aiming for a variety of quality cars from A - Z for all to enjoy and for public display.
- Gates will be open from 8am, and proof of each vehicle’s registrations will be checked at the Registration Marquee. They will then be marshalled into place, and all registered cars must be in position ready for the official 10am start time.
Only Cars pre-Registered vide Trybooking will be allowed entrance to the show unless prior arrangements with the Stewards have been made or are made by the stewards on the day.
- IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE 🙄👀
- FOR SAFETY REASONS, AS THIS IS A PUBLIC FAMILY EVENT 👨👨👧👦👩👩👦👨👩👧👧, ALL REGISTERED CARS ONCE MARSHALLED TO THEIR POSITION MUST REMAIN IN PLACE FOR THE DURATION OF THE SHOW FROM 10am-2pm.
2. ONLY UNDER EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES, AS ARRANGED WITH THE STEWARDS AT THE TIME, WILL CARS BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE EARLIER THAN THE OFFICIAL 2pm END TIME. 🙄
Part B: Terms & Conditions 😃
- For information about this event, please contact the "Event Organiser".
- By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.
- All Classic Cars must be registered in advance to enter the Show, with cost to Register only $10 per car (excluding booking fee).
- The Classic Car Show Committee, or it's representatives, reserve the right to cancel or reject any registered cars at any time before or at the event and refund the Car Registration Fee as deemed appropriate under the circumstances at the time.
- Registered cars are marshalled & parked up as they arrive on the beautifully, grassed Thorndon Park Car Show oval, located immediately north of the public carpark.
- The Park Show Entrance Gates will be open for all pre-Registered Cars to enter the Car Show Oval from 8:00am to ensure they are all in place for the start of the show at 10am.
- Upon entering the Gates: -There is the Registration Marquee- where your Registration will be checked & any last-minute details can be finalised.
- Upon entry, each Registered Car will be given a Shannon's Registered Car ID, together with your Show Bag of Goodies. The show bag is a small thank you to all registered entrants supporting the car show and for giving up their time and effort to make it a great day for everyone. eg the public, car fans, sponsors and of course our worthy cause, the CFS.
- please display your Shannon's Car ID prominently on the Car for identification and judging.
- you will then be Marshalled to your allocated car spot on the Show grounds and for public safety reasons, please remain parked there for the duration of the Show unless there are special circumstances, emergency or you have been directed by a Car Show Steward to move or leave etc. You are then free to enjoy the Show & Park amenities.
There are Car Show Trophies for Best Original, Best Modified, and two Judges Choice awards.
Part C: REFUNDS and CANCELLATIONS.
If the Car Show is postponed, (eg inclement weather) to a new date or you need to cancel and can't attend you can either: -
(1) rollover your registration fee to the new date (to be advised ASAP)
(2) notify the event organiser if you wish to have a full refund of your registration fee $10 per car (booking fee non-refundable).
(3) do nothing and consider your registration fee as a donation to the CFS who are the beneficiaries of the show.
