Campbelltown Art Show

Thankyou to all involved in the successful 40th Campbelltown Art Show.  Without all of our wonderful sponsors, including major Sponsor Paradise Mazda, exhibitors, visitors, Campbelltown City Council and Rotarians involved in the set up and running of the Show, it could not be the huge success that it is.

The raffle was drawn at the meeting of the Rotary Club of Campbelltown on 15 May 2023 by Ms Jenah Bambrick from the Campbelltown City Council.
First Prize winner - E Cousins ticket number 157
Second Prize Winner - John Jeffree ticket number 161

Thankyou to all who supported the running of the Art Show this year.

We are very pleased to announce the 40th Campbelltown Art Show

The 2023 Campbelltown Art Show and Sale is run in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Campbelltown and Campbelltown City Council and will be held over 8 days from Saturday, 6 May to its conclusion on Saturday, 13 May at the Campbelltown Function Centre 172 Montacute Rd, Rostrevor. As with last year, there will be extensive opening hours, and several demonstrations to maximise community participation.

History of Campbelltown Art Show

The first Campbelltown Art Show and Sales was held in 1984.  Mayor Max Amber who was the mayor at the time came to our club and suggested that they have an Art Show to showcase Local Artists.  He then asked the Rotary Club of Campbelltown to provide the people power to make it happen. This has been a joint project between the council and Campbelltown Rotary for 39 years including this years. The first Art Show had 206 entries. Paradise Motors (now Paradise Mazda) was our first Major Sponsor and they have been the Major sponsor every year since.

The first Art Convenor was the president at the time Mr Tony Uren, who has been involved in every art show since, as have many of our members and their partners. We have been very proud to be part of an event which continues to showcase not only our local artists but also attracts some of the most talented South Australian Artists as well as the odd entry from interstate.

As this is a joint venture with the Campbelltown City Council Art Show our club feels privileged having such a close working relationship with the current Mayor Jill Whittaker and the staff at the council.

Events like the Art Show help to support the RC of Campbelltown, which helps us to support our local and interstate communities.
