The 3rd Classics on the Park (the first was held in Oct 2019 and the 2nd in March 2021) is to be held on Sunday 19th February 23 from 10am-2pm on the rear oval at the north-eastern end of Thorndon Park Reserve -Hamilton Terrace Paradise (about 300m north of the Rezz Hotel)
- The Car show is organised by the Rotary Club of Campbelltown with all profits from the event again going to three local CFS brigades.P
- Proudly supported by Campbelltown Council with major sponsors as per the flyer.
- Closing Date for Registrations is Thursday 16th Feb 23 unless sold out.
- Cost to Register a Classic Car into the event is only $10, Motorbike entries $5. Public entry is by gold coin donation. If you have a Classic Car, why not Register for the event? Not only will you be able to display your pride and joy in beautiful Thorndon Park you can share a fun day with other car enthusiasts, the public and also raise money to support the local CFS.
- Registration by either Cash, Internet Banking, or credit card. Note: Registration subject to Committees Approval as only 180 cars can be accommodated –We are aiming for a variety of quality cars from A - Z for all to enjoy & for public display.
- Please Register asap to secure your entry.
- Registered Cars need to be in place by 10am, so please arrive early from 8:00am or asap to be marshalled to your allocated spot.
Some more general info: -
- Registered cars are marshalled as they arrive, together with allocated areas for sponsors, historical Police Car Display , CFS Fire Trucks, special displays,catering stalls , coffee etc.
- There will be a PA system and spot interviews will be done with entrants who wish to share their cars features and history etc.
- It only costs $10 to enter a car. Everyone who registers and enters a car /cars on the day receives a complimentary Showbag packed with goodies from our generous sponsors. The show bag is a small thank you to all registered entrants supporting the car show and giving of your time and effort to make it a great day for not just enthusiasts but the public, organisers, sponsors and of course our worthy cause the CFS.
- There are Trophies for different categories such as Most Original, Best Modified, Best Car of the Day and Runner’s Up.
- There is a raffle on sale prior to the show and on the day– with great raffle prizes. 4 Tickets per book with tickets $5 each. If you wish to buy a book or a ticket before the show, please contact the secretary.
- Food & Coffee stalls open early. • Our 1st Oct 2019 Car Show raised $5000 for the Athelstone CFS just prior to the devastating fire season. Our second Show in March 2021 raised $20K and our fundraising goal is for this our 3rd Show is $30K. We can only do that, with your generous support.
